I called this company from a listing I found on Craigslist.com in the Dallas area. At the begining I advised the customer service gentelman that I had encountered what I thought was a similar company before. I explained the process and steps I would have taken according to the other company policy that I wound up not using due to my being skeptical. The guy I was speaking with began to tell me about 'thier' program and I needed to interject with questions, which made him irrate. I was dissapointed that this company charges the potential home owner a fee rather than charging the person going into forclosure a fee. The guy I 1st spoke to was very rude and when I continued reading the information advertised on craigslist.com to help him understand my questions that he was not answering, he hung up on me. I called back and spoke with a guy again, this time I got his name. Chris. I asked him what was the company name I was calling. The ad on the online classifieds didn't indicate a company name. He seemed to not hear me or not WANT to tell me the company name. I persisted by asking if there was a website that I could lookup to do research on the company and what they they were offering. He told me the name of the website is www.nunyabusiness.com- I typed it into my browser and at the same time commented that the website name seemed a bit off and was pretty sure this guy was pulling my leg(joking). His mannerism was somewhat facious yet sincere. Sincerely intent on being a jerk.....he displayed this when I told him the nunyabusiness.com sight was not an active sight and I asked him if it was nonya with an 'o' or nunya with a 'u'. He specifically told me to spell it with a "u". I then asked him if it was nunyabiz.com or nunyabusiness.com - He responded that it was the formal spelling and not the slang version 'biz'. At this point he seemed so intent on helping me understand the correct spelling that I thought maybe this wasn't a rude joke afterall. I told him that I thought NUNYABUSINESS.COM was a rude name for a company to use. I told hime the 'corrected' spelling he gave me for the sight was also incorrect. I said hello a couple of times, pulled my cell phone away from my ear and waited a few more seconds and with all my bars showing a good signal the call was disconnected on thier end. I was hung up! Hmmmm. I was very angry. I called back a 3rd time. This time I spoke with a guy named Rich. I was very calm. In fact this time I was overly calm and somewhat quiet. He asked what he could do for me. I said I was interested in re-locating. He asked what type of home, I said I wanted a 3 bedroom 2 bath 2 car garage. He asked what state I was interested in, I said Texas. He went into his sales pitch about how his company helps people get into homes without a credit check and so on. I listened quietly. He asked for my contact # in case the call was disconnected. I said I left my phone at home and was using another persons phone and was not at liberty to give the # out. I said it would be rude of me to just give the # out. He said it would be rude of him to not continue telling me about the program. I listened somemore but was really just tuning him out until I had a chance to speak. He asked me to join and become a member of the program for $199.99 I said I'd like to know if there is a website I can visit to learn more about the company. He said yes there is and that it was available after I became a member. I said I'd like to visit the sight to see how it looks, he finally gave in and gave me the web address, then asked me why I was so angry. At this point I had been so calm(keep in mind I was so angry I was shaking, after the previous call with Chris). My mannerism was very subdued. I told Rich that I'm sorry that he is angry and how can I make him happy. He insisted that he wasn't angry and that he felt I was angry, since I had not displayed ANY emotion at all to him, this was absurd. I told him that I take anti-depressant medice and that I am just overly calm. He said that I was very short with him. I see at this point the guy is being a real jerk. I PURPOSELY showed ZERO signs of my anger from the previous call so that I could milk this guy for company info and make my formal complaint. Then this guy assumes by my quiet demeaner that I am an irrate caller. Odd, I know irrate and several ugly words I could have used at octive levels that would be unpleasent, and I chose not to be irrate on purpose to get the previous guy (hopefully) canned for such poor and miserable customer service. At this point I let Rich in on the fact that I had an unpleasent experience just minutes before with a different customer service inbound call taker and I am highly dissapointed with this company and their tactics. I was directed to a website that doesn't exist because someguy was having a bad day and chose to be less than professional with me. I told Rich that the name I gave him was false and that I'd like to make a formal complaint against the previous person I spoke with. Rich said he doesn't do business with liars and hung up on me. I called back again only this time I was armed with some internet research. The web address Rich gave me was REAL, and I did a search on the BBB site and here I am. I have both company address In Califorina and will pursue this until I am completely satisfied. I spoke with female on my 4th call and let her know that I am fully aware of the exact location of the call center and read off the address to her and said that I will be contact the Better Business Bureau if I don't speak to a manager immediately. She placed me on hold and eventually A man got on the phone and I explained my situation and he placed me on hold. I was waiting for a few minutes when another man cam on the line and said he was with the customer service department. I explained my situation in full, He listened. I gave him my number and am awaiting a responce as to the reprocutions of the two individuals Chris and Rich.
