What are the similarities between a Roles Royce automobile and a Tactical Operations rifle? There are more than I thought. Both are ordered to the client requirements and not pre-manufactured. You just cant go into a store and buy either one like some Ford POS.
There is not a point of interest that is not addressed with both and one does not leave the factory without meeting the exact requirements of the company. Both are designed, engineered and machined to tight tolerances and then hand fit and finished to their respective perfections.
In TacOps the company is Mike. From what I can tell he oversees every aspect of each rifle’s production. Not only is he on the floor working but he’s answering the phone and emails to boot. What does this mean for you. It means time. If you want a masterpiece of sniper rifle perfection then you have to wait for it. Don’t call on Monday and expect it in a week or two. Like the Roles Royce it take him over a year to produce your order. My LIMA-51 took 15 months and a lot of waiting on my part. In talking to him, he would like to get that time down to about 8 months but due to the number of orders and the perfection that he demands that not likely to happen anytime soon. So don’t call every week and ask where you rifle is until about double the estimated time.
These systems are not cheap. But if you want a rifle that will produce a sub .250” group (mine can shoot a .163” group at 100 yrd) here is the place to look. As I understand he has a clientele list of over 600 federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and number of “special” military units. This does not include private persons. With this kind of precision you get this kind of client list.
