TaoTao Cy50-a Scooter
First of all, I want to say, what little I have driven the scooter has been great, although I do have to adjust the mirrors a lot. And assembly was pretty easy, I watched a great YouTube video that helped a lot. Second of all, I feel that the customer service has been quite poor. I have emailed them 5 times, and only 2 of them have been answered. Specifically, when I email again with the question(s) and complain about the previous email not being answered. The last email was on Monday asking about the MCO and BoS. Today I called 4 times, to talk to someone who works in the MCO/Bill of Sale department. It sent me to the answering machine each time, telling me they will try to get back with me in 15 minutes. They have yet to of done so after 4 and a half hours, and now they are closed for the day. I received my scooter 10 days ago, and was told it takes up to a week and a half for the paperwork, which is fine, but a confirmation that the paperwork has been mailed would of been great. I have no idea if it even has been sent, or if it will be sent. For all I know, my scooter will be collecting dust indefinitely. Third, I wanted to mention that their price match guarantee is bogus, since they do not price match another company that sells the same products. Their explanation of that, was the other company works directly with the manufacturer. But again, their website says the will match ANY verifiable price. You can look yourself (Perhaps their is some fine print somewhere). I had also asked if the rush processing I paid for was what I had received. I had ordered my scooter Wednesday morning before they opened. Dave Kent told me it shipped Friday, which was a day late, and that I would receive confirmation and the tracking number the following Monday. I didn't receive it until Tuesday. Although the shippjng paperwork i recieved with the scooter said it had shipped Thursday, so Im willing to let it slide, since it arrived in good time. The scooter arrived the following Monday, and had I been available, I could of received it previous Friday, which was consistent with the shipping times for my state. I will update this review as needed, primarily when I am able to drive it. Whenever that may be. Received the Paperwork Saturday, the 28th.

Hello Timothy. Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I understand that you experienced some frustrations in regards to the documentation for registration purposes. I know how upsetting it can be to not have the paperwork some one can register their new vehicle. Unofrtuantely, as we receive all certificates from the manufacturer, it is also frustrating for us because we know how much our customers need them. I have expressed this concern to the manufacturers about the speed in which they send the documents and am hopeful they adjust their methods and send them in a timely manner. In regards to price matching, we do offer it however, we can only provide the match before the order is placed and unfortunately, once the order is processed, we cannot go back and adjust.I hope you have continued enjoyment with your scooter for many years to come and I hope that if you have any questions, you please let us know. Thank you.
