Review 1/2/2011
|
I bought a new Ford Edge from this dealer, unfortunately, at night in the rain in the month of Dec.2010. When I got the car home into my garage, I saw that it had overspray all over the car. I immediately reported this to Sunrise Ford. I took the car back two days later and they kept the car for 5 days. The paint has marks all over it, the rubber and plastic and metal parts of the car still have overspray and compound / buffer damage.
The General Manager and Owners will not talk to me and keep saying they can fix the car. I have now taken the car to two separate body shops and they have both said the plastic and rubber all needs replacing and the overspray problem has not been corrected. Also, the clear coat on the car has been compromised.
I have also reported this problem to Ford Motor Corporation directly. I have asked for a replacement vehicle and now have to pursue legal means. It is so sad that Ford puts out ads about the "New" Ford and Sunrise's own tag line is "Where Integrity has meaning" ~ that has not been my experience with this dealer. I was trying to buy domestic and support our economy, very sad.
PLEASE go somewhere else. They represented that the car they sold me was NEW, but has paint damage, then created more damage trying to fix it. Very disappointing.
