Wow, I should have come here first before I took the free trail from Realty Trac. I signed up for the free trial 5 days ago. The very next day I sgned up I started my search. I was looking for a 4 - 5 bd and at least 2000 sq ft home in San Jose or Milpitas, CA. I found a listing on a home that was REO (or so it states on the web). I called the # they had on the listing and the people confirmed they don't have the property listed. Then I email the person and they replied that its not true... I called Freddie Mac (which owns Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp which they show as a trustee on Realty Trac website) and Freddie Mac said it's not owned by them. And it was never owned by them, they advised me to call the Santa Clara Assessors office to confirm the Title name and sure enough the county confirmed the owner as ........ which were the original owners and they paid taxes on time and no flag on that property. After 5 hours of research, I called Realty Trac to let them know that their website had the wrong info for a couple of leads I found. They said they would look in to it and call me back because I was still interested. 5 days later I get a call from Realty Trac wanted to offer me a 4 months trial for the price of 1 month. WHAT A JOKE. I explained to the operator that I thought they were calling me in regards to the false leads and then after we spoke in regards to my issue, the operator decided to hang up on me. I called back to speak to an onsite mgr. and there was no one. I went back today to log in and noticed they cut my trial short and was unable to log in. So please don't waste your time and gas... I will find my future home but not through them....
