It is very sad especially in this day and age and in these trying times, that you find you can't rely on anyone.....Public Motors when you start the process seems to be a very friendly, helpful bunch....That is until you sign on the dotted line and from then on it is like they turn into uncaring, not friendly robots.....I purchased a car from them on Aug 22, 2010, not even two weeks later the check engine light came on and it was throwing itself into 2nd gear which was very scary....I purchased the extended warranty and was told that what was wrong with my car was covered, after them having it for 6 days I was told it was a different part and it was not covered, needless to say I threw a hissy fit and "Shawn" said he would discuss with the manager this problem after I had only had it two weeks, he calls back to tell me if I cover the part they will cover the labor, oh whoopee, since it is there mechanic's doing the job, I agreed cause I need a car,(no rental for this either)I told them on the 6 day to do it and it is now 9 days since they have had my car and don't try to call anyone cause you will not get a response back unless you show up in person....I wish I had read some of these reviews before getting into this, Hopefully someday there will be a class action suit against them I will be in the front row.......OMG, what a rip-off...
