I had a very bad experience dealing with this company.
I came to know their CEO, Mr. Thomas Pike about a year ago during the time that i was deeply troubled and looking for some help on how to salvage our real estate properties. The company offers real estate, mortgage and investment services that I thought will be able to assist us in our difficult situation. I was having difficulty selling one of my houses and he offered to help us by putting our home in their "Home Buyer Assistance Program".
In the beginning, Mr. Pike has been so nice to me and my family and we treated him as a trusted friend. His programs seemed to be very helpful so i even worked for him to promote his business. I even personally invested in the company for a total principal amount of $130,000 ( This even includes my husband's 401k/retirement money)in the form of Promissory Note with 18% return of investment.
I requested early withdrawal of the investment but all i got is a bad check in the amount of $61,000 as it was returned for insufficient funds. I have been repeatedly promised that I will be paid both from his personal and company account but all were empty promises.
I seek legal advise and filed a case against him and his company but until now, he is not showing any interest in paying me back. I waited till all promissory notes are overdue last October 17, 2007 hoping that I can finally get my money back since it was already due but I did not hear anything from him. My lawyer sent him a demand letter but we heard nothing from him. We tried to call him but all his nos., company telephone nos. and cell phone are no longer a working no. His "Home Buyer Assistance Program" did not help sell our home and he put my family in a the worst financial situation of our life.
Last Nov. 1, 2007, we already notified the Department of Real Estate (DRE) and Department of Corporations (DOC)about our grievances and hoping to hear from them in the next few days. The company operates in the following DBA's: PIKE CONSULTING,PIKE CONSULTING INC.
