We hired Nationwide Pools to do a $35K remodel to our pool and regret our decision every day. From the time we signed the contract we were told the project would take 2-3 weeks. The main project (from start to getting water in the pool) took 4 MONTHS and is still not complete which includes leaving unsafe areas on the deck which were noted on the punch list to fix. They over charged our credit cards. Nationwide left debris and trash all around our yard which took our family not just hours to clean up but days to clean up and pay for. Nationwide broke our pump when reinstalling it months latter and has not reimbursed our cost of $588.45 which was not originally included in this huge contract because it was in good working order. Nationwide Pools employees or subs stole our extension cord which took months for Nationwide to replace. Despite that by contract Nationwide was to balance our pool; they could not. On at least 4 seperate occassions they sent crews to add chemicals, water, etc. to balance the pool and could never get it balance so advised us to contract with our regular pool maintenance company and they would reimburse us ..... we're still waiting for the $170.00. Nationwide asked us to settle our complaints for money and then altered the settlement we had offered and thought they had agreed to. We've decided that making others aware of these and many more complaints we have is worth more than the thousands of dollars they owe us. We will also be meeting with the State Attorney in August when they lawyer in charge of these matters returns from vacation to investigate any and all possible criminal charges. Please feel free to contact us for any and all information we can offer.
