I was asked to write a review - and I am glad to.

I told the folks at National Family Solutions that it would be my pleasure. I am an Iraq war veteran, and like many of us, years apart from our spouses simply means that we grew apart. The war changed who I am, some positive some negative. My spouse changed over that time too. Heartbreaking feeling to know that you aren't going to spend the rest of our lives together. But we have 2 children and they come first.
Our divorce and custody was amicable. We don't hate each other, I didn't want to "get back at her" or anything like that. And that is where National Family Solutions and my case Tara Nickson came into our life. My ex and I are both on limited budgets. Tara actually worked with us over 9 months as the courts are really backed up in my area. They kept my head calm, worked out a parenting plan that both my ex and I are really comfortable with and made sure that we both knew "the kids are the most important thing."
They made us think about things like "if she gets married and wants to move out of state". Or if either one of us dies. Do the grandparents have rights? It's more than just court documents people. If you are scared, confused, anxious, whatever the case may be. They helped me make sure my ex and I stayed on course and get proper order in place. I really can't believe that there are still companies that care. I mean that. Everyone I spoke with (even the attorney that prepared our filings) seemed to really care and make sure we had our ducks in a row.
Thanks again to the team. I love you guys. Know that you are really doing God's work to help fellow Americans with a very difficult time.
