DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
|
Let me start this off by saying that when I signed up with Nationwide Consumer Debt Relief in 2008, up until October of 2010, I had a wonderful experience with them. My creditors were being paid off, it was coming in a single check, they reduced many interest rates, it all was working as advertised. Then, in 2010, Sometime between the September and October payments, it went to the exact opposite. My debts were nearly paid off, I had two creditors left, and only owed $1800 in total. My payments were still coming out of my checking account, but they were no longer being applied to the two credit cards still in the system. I called Nationwide several times from October till September of 2011 after stopping my use of their service. They never paid either creditor, even though telling me many times that they have. Then, because I paid one of the creditors on top of the money I paid Nationwide, it took 7 months to get the first refund. Now, I'm being contacted by a collections agency from the second account that Nationwide assured me was paid, and sure enough, they haven't been. I have been calling Nationwide daily and they've actually used the "check is in the mail" excuse twice.
If I thought it would do any good, I'd take them to court, but I doubt that will make them pay either. I would suggest another source for debt repayment if you decide to go this route. These guys are liars, thieves, and just plain bad business.
