My Car Solutions is good at taking money but bad at refunding. They keep putting the customer off - Oh it will be 90 business days; then it will be 30 additional business days, then ... Their customer service # is: 800-770-0684 (that was even hard to find). Full story: My father bought the "policy" Oct 2009. 11/2009 - I tried to cancel the policy. On the phone (Nov 2009)- they said to return the policy and they would refund the money. 11/22/09 - I sent the policy back with all pertinent information. 1/4/2010 - no refund. Called their customer service. Maria said it would be 90 business days ... THAT IS 18 weeks ... 4.5 months - Unreal. 4/19/10 - no refund. Called customer service and talked to Madeline. She said My Car Solutions was bought out by her company on 3/31/10 and they have another 30 Business days to clean up the mess. 5/24/10 - no refund. I was put on hold for awhile (they play CHRISTMAS Music on 5/24/10 ... that's a really with it company). Then I got an answering machine. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor - after more Christmas music, Madeline came to the phone. Ans - call my credit card company and maybe I'll see a refund. IF THIS WORKS, it is WAY too much time and WAY too much work for a real company to put the consumer through.
