Incompetent Workmanship

I “hired” them to drain and fill a hot water heater, a guy shows up to do the “job” in his own personal vehicle, not in uniform and lacking the “proper” tools to do the job because he had to borrow some from me. He “drains” the tank and after he completes
filling the tank, and lights the pilot, I can hear water falling into the “pilot” burner. I asked him where it could be coming from and he said that he did not know, but it could be “residual” water that was left over from the draining. I get home later that
day to find a puddle of “water” under my water heater about ½ inch deep. I look at the top of the water heater and the “hot water outlet” pipe, which he had unscrewed during the draining process, had not been tightened down properly, and water is coming out
of it. It was late so I call him back the next day and we agree to meet at 11:00 AM. Two hours go by and he doesn’t show so I call and speak to “Owner”, who assures that I will get my money back and he will call the “Boss” of the “guy” who botched the job
to begin with. I had tried calling the “Boss” earlier that day but I got a message that said that his "voice mail was unable to accept messages". The “Boss” calls me back after speaking to the “Owner” who was able to get through to him although I was not,
we discuss what happened, he says that the same “guy” who botched the “job” will be out, he promises me that I will see a refund, which he will personally deliver to me. The Guy shows up at 4:30PM with a wrench, complaining about having to come back out, he
than spends less than a minute doing some additional tightening of the hot water outlet pipe fitting, and then leaves. I never got the “refund” I was promised, I leave the “Boss”, a message to call me, I get his voice mail and he has never returned my call
in regard to the reimbursement that I was promised by him and the “Owner” of the company. I then filed a Compliant with the Better Business Bureau and despite two requests from them for a “response” from H2O Services regarding my concerns, they never bothered
to answer the Complaint.
