I remember fondly that week I got to spend with the Gateway laptop.....What a week it was....I remember being online and the games we played....oh memories. Oh and all the lovely people I got to speak on the phone with when my poor computer stopped working. I even got to meet a really nice guy at FedEx when I had to pay to ship the laptop back. I should have looked at it as an honor to pay I guess because my computer was special enough for its model number to not even exist. So special in fact that without that valid model number my computer couldn't even be registered. So special that when it couldn't be registered it couldn't be warrantied. So special that they now can't find the issue # for my repair. So special that they've been waiting 2 days shy of a month for a replacement part that they say has been backordered. My advice to everyone: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!!!.....Gateway denied even having my computer until I told them when/where/who signed for my computer (thanks FedEx for the excellent job). Gateway customer "service" is an industry joke it turns out....I wish I did some homework before my purchase. Go on HSN or QVC or ShopNBC's customer forums and read the horror stories....I wonder why Gateway doesn't have a forum...hmmmm
