They helped me
|
I signed up with GHS solutions during the financial crisis of 2007. I signed up to pay $52000 with a 30 month plan. I stayed with them the whole 30 months. I found them very helpful. I want to remind you that Credit Card companies sue you and GHS is VERY CLEAR that they do not offer legal services. When my credit card company sued me, I had to file my own reply and go to court. I was referred to arbitration by the judge and was able to get GHS recognized as my arbitrator. They settled that credit card debt for 60% of the original balance. GHS is a big company and communicating with their staff can be a challenge but it's time to put on your big boy/girl pants and quit blaming them They are offering you a service which you agreed to buy. You need to take responsibility for your debts. I didn't find the credit card companies any easier to communicate with either. For all of you who complained that you were taken to court, you seem to forget it was THE CREDIT CARD company who sued you. My impression during my one court date was the judge was just as tired as you are of the credit card companies. I just said "Yes, I know I owe this debt, I've been trying to negotiate with the credit card company for settlement and it is the credit card company that isn't cooperating." The judge essentially told the lawyer for the credit card company, "Negotiate with her." Problem solved. Did any of you complainers even go to court, even filed a reply or did you just go whining to the bankruptcy lawyer, who by the way also accepted your money. What I learned from all this is 1)the banks don't care about you 2) the government doesn't care, in fact, you get to pay taxes on the forgiven amount and 3) pay cash. After this experience, I will never own another credit card again. I hope they go bankrupt when we all learn this lesson.
