Mistake

When I signed up with Delray, I was told the payment was going to be certain amount. When I went back to plan my budget, I realized that I could not afford this payment. I called back and had an account removed, thus lowering my payment to an affordable amount. So, they withdrew this amount 2 months in a row. Then, I get an email stating that all my accounts had gone up between $6 & $9 each. No problem. The problem was, when they dropped my one account, they miscalculated and the real total was $200 more per month!!! I spoke to a gentleman and he proceeded to talk down to me. I was a little heated, but that is to be expected. I am sure Delray will respond how I did this or said that, but how could they miss this for 2 payments? Now, I have wasted 2 months and I have to call my creditors and explain that my debt management has to start over!!

Delray Credit Counseling has served thousands of clients over the last 10 years. The overwhelmingly majority of whom are very happy with the service we provide. No company is perfect. If we have a process that fails, the source of the issue is found and a solution is developed and noted in our quality manual. The quality manual is part of our ISO audit and certification process that is performed every 6 months by BSI International. Typically we are also the fall guy for consumers who have fallen on hard times and they project their frustrations on us. While we cannot go into specifics about Ken's account, we would like to add, we tried to work with him and when it became clear we were not going to be able to continue, we refunded every dollar this agency collected from him. We wish Ken the best of luck and truly hope he finds a solution that is more in line with his expectations.
