Stay away from this company!!! This is one of those cash quick companies that robs you blind and tries to cover their illegal activities. I took out a loan for $600 in November 2009 to help with Christmas after a difficult year. Today, I wanted to pay off my balance, thinking it was approximately $200 balance. To my surprise, after all of the payments from November to February, I still had a balance of $422!!! Because I paid it off early, my $600 loan ONLY cost me $953.
I cut and pasted the info below which came directly from an email from the Cash Jar representative below:
11/27/2009 $63.75 12/11/2009 $127.50 12/24/2009 $127.50 1/8/2010 $127.50 1/22/2010 $177.50 2/5/2010 $162.50
Your current loan balance is $422.50 which you have requested to pay in full on 2/19/2010.
Should you have any questions, please call our customer service number at 866-568-2209.

Can you say, "CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT"? I want to be informed when there is one brought up.
Note: When I logged in to my account, my information is not available to me. So, I called. They did not verify my identity at all, but readily gave me my information over the phone. I requested a hard copy of my payment history. I was informed that a supervisor would have to talk to me because they don't send that info to protect a person's information. Ha ha ha. I found that extremely funny and gave me reason to question their intentions. This is why I requested a hard copy of my payments.
Once a 'supervisor' got on the line, she told me she would have to speak with a manager to authorize my request because she didn't think that was permissable, and that they recommend that customers refer to their bank statements. I reminded her that as a consumer, I had a right to my records and payment history, and that I would hold while she checked with a 'manager'. She came back and agreed to email my paperwork. She confirmed my email address. STAY AWAY FROM CASH JAR! HUGE RIP OFF!
