I purchased a used car from Browning Mazda. It was certified used AND I bought the extended warranty. When I bought the extended warranty the finance guy stated that it would cover the transmission (I found out later a lie by omission). Immediately, I noticed there was a problem with the transmission. On the first service, I brought it in and advised there was a problem with the transmission. They noted it on the service order but later stated they were unable to replicate the issue. I continued to experience problems. On the next service I brought it in again and I complained about the issue again. Again, they were unable to replicate the issue. The transmission was still giving me problems. I brought it in a 3rd time. This third time I reported it again. They were unable to replicate it, well they offered in circumstances like this to allow a tech to drive it home and test it. The next morning I received a call that the clutch needs to be replaced for 1k plus some other miscellaneous issues. I complained that the car was certified pre owned and there was an extended warranty. They called it a wear item and that it was not going to be covered. I told them I purchased, at a premium, a vehicle that had was reported to have been thoroughly inspected and CERTIFIED. This was obviously not the case, as the issue presented it self immediately. After several rounds with people with questionable ethics and business practices they offered a 10% discount on the service. Thank you, but no thank you.
