Contracted with Rooter Hero for the $79 snake (cable out) of bathroom sink on 1/26/2011. Technician claimed there was an obstruction and a seven foot section of pipe would need to be replaced. Technician also stated that the entire sewer system needed to be replaced for $4,000 and identified 10 major leaks within sewer system. The immediate spot job would cost $700. I gave the ok and paid for services that I thought were completed per the agreement.
I had a second plumber from a different company inspect all plumbing within the structure the day after and test the entire system and obtain bids for replacement of all drain pipes. To be hold, there were zero leaks and they also stated that Rooter Hero did not replace any of the so pipe that was stated in their contract. The second plumbing company also stated that the entire system is fine and did not need to be replaced.
Rooter Hero pulled a scam for services not performed and I do not recommend their services to anyone.
