I have been a client of Advanced College Solutions for four years, since the beginning of my freshman year of High School, and I could not be more happy with the service I've received. From the beginning, Ardeth helped me pick the classes that made me most competitive to the top echelon schools which I aspired, creating a strong mix of academically difficult courses and commitment to various extra-curricular activities. As my High School career progressed, I received SAT and ACT training in the office and, counseling on my scores, including how much I needed to improve and how they translated among my competition.
The summer before my Senior year, everything went into overdrive with the service. I attended an application essay writing seminar, taught by Ardeth, where I learned tricks to writing essays, beyond the traditional tactics of overuse of adjectives and imagery, that College Admissions Officers would enjoy reading. Over the first semester, I corresponded with Ardeth almost daily, improving essays, asking questions about all the various applications, and sometimes complaining how long it took to fill them out (If you are planning on applying to USC, expect the webpage to time out on you 6.7 times a sitting on average). My second semester, acceptances started rolling In, and both Tom and Ardeth were there to help me celebrate and decide which of my options was best for me. Tom translated the funding offers into English, put them into an easy to understand chart for better comparison, and sat down with my family and me to personally explain all the minutia of the funding process.
All in all, I was-accepted to some very prestigious schools, including USC, UC Berkeley, College of William and Mary, American University, Boston College and George Washington University, largely thanks to the amazing service I received at Advanced College Funding Solutions. Next year, I will be attending Soka University of America, with full tuition covered through merit and need-based scholarships, attending at the base cost of room and board.
