MY A/C unit inside my house had been freezing up. I had to put it on fan each day in order to work. I couldn't afford a new unit, but it started getting bad. I called a "local" A/c company, thinking I wanted to stay within my community. My first give away should have been that the gentleman showed up at my house in an unmarked car, an el comeno, he wasn't even wearing a shirt that represented the company. I find out he is the owner. I let him in, he says my problem is that I need a new inside unit and it would cost $2,300 because my inside unit is freezing up. I paid it, they put a new unit in. Months later my new unit starts freezing up just like my old one (that was 22 yrs old) Owner, Leonard Osborne comes over and tell me that I now need an outside unit and charges me $1600, both times he asked me to write me check payable directly to him, not the business. After the outside unit was put in, the first week I had a problem. Living in Florida, the heat in summer is high. I put my temp at 75 degrees and my new a/c would not go lower than 77. I called company and spoke to owner. On three different occasions he promised to come out to look and then never showed up. I called many many times and he never once gave me the courtesy of a reply and after calling his son and his son told me that I had no problem that my a/c will not go lower then 12 degrees the what the temp is outside, I realized that I was dealing with a company that was not up to par. I have continued to call the company and let them know that I have paid for services that are not working and they have continued to not return my calls. They took their money and then do not care about the customer or their product. They basically took the money and ran. And this was a local company that I tried to use thinking locally was the right way to go. Only after all of this did I find this company has an "F" rating. They deserve this "F" and a time out and detention. DO NOT USE THEM. BE AFFRAID, BE VERY AFFRAID.
